10 Tips for Meditation PRActice

  1. PRACTICE (Patiently Repeating Altruistic Challenges To Inspire Core Excellence) Makes perfect. Doing anything regularly will improve your skill naturally.

  2. Find a quiet place where you will not be disturbed during PRACTICE. The quieter the better (Turn off cell phones, etc)

  3. Set a time and make the commitment. The best time to meditate is before you start your day. This way you're grounded and ready for any stress that comes at you rather than reacting to it.

  4. Set your intention for the meditation (to relax, to be a better you, etc.)

  5. Relax and let go of any expectations. Expectations lead to disappointment. Each meditation is unique and the effects vary by individual. 

  6. Sounds, thoughts, and distractions are a natural occurrence.  Simply notice them and return to the PRACTICE.

  7. PRACTICE at least 10 minutes a day to reap the benefits.

  8. Eliminate any limiting beliefs about your ability to meditate. Everyone can meditate, you've got this!

  9. Make sure to fill your belly then your chest by inhaling from the nose and exhaling from the mouth. 

  10. Let go and relax! This is well deserved YOU time.
